Preparation (WALLS): Clean tile
walls, remove existing soap dish, install furring to bring wall surface
even with tile surface above tile line. Carve out space for the new
recessed acrylic soap dish. Prime the tile walls for better adhesion.
Remove the existing shower controls, spigot and showerhead. Preparation (slip RESISTANT FLOOR &
THRESHOLD): Trip to customer’s home job site inspection
and job identification process. ($50 trip charge applicable to purchase
price of a shower floor and wall system) Take 12 different measurements
and 2 digital photos to identify the base style and shape. Inspect
condition of the shower drain and P-trap. Inspect for leaks and other
damages. INSTALLATION
(WALLS): Custom cut acrylic
panels to fit the side and back walls. Heat-bend the outside edges of
acrylic walls for bull-nose affect over the tile. Apply butyl tape for
firmness. Apply sub-caulking to corners. Apply 100% silicon on the tile
surface and install back wall, and sidewalls. Cut out shape for the soap
dish installation. Install classic soap dish. Apply caulk primer. Caulk
the corners, edges with matching caulk & finish. Reinstall shower
controls, spigot and shower head. INSTALLATION (slip RESISTANT FLOOR & THRESHOLD ): Custom cut ¼” thick, acrylic shower floor with slip resistant surface. Clean and sand tile surface; base and threshold for better adhesion, remove existing drain, apply plumber’s primer for strong contact, and apply butyl tape. Cut and trim Slip Resistant Acrylic floor for perfect fit. Install the acrylic floor and apply caulking primer. Custom bend acrylic threshold, trim and install. Caulk and finish. |

IMPORTANT NOTE: Your particular bathtub and walls may be different than the standard sample shown above and may require extra work. If your bathroom requires additional work, following items will be charged extra: Repair and replacement of rotted studs and sheet rock walls, bad drains and other plumbing problems, sub floors, ceilings, any and all areas which require substantial repair. Removal of old shower door and installation of new one. Additional items required by customer such as: Bull nose finish over top edges of tile walls, window openings, new mixing valve and controls (fixtures), Additional acrylic installation around the walls, extensions, multiple curves, additional acrylic accessories.
